Seacliff - 27/6/2007

I tagged along for the Edinburgh Kayak Club's June trip to Seacliff beach. I had good intentions of turning up to a Wednesday club night since May's trip to Seacliff, but it took another month of mending and work not interfering to be ready for that journey. Peter and Emma gave me a lift. Peter's car suspension was not so kind to my back, so I arrived much more sore than I expected. The trip was a social one for me as anything over a few inches of surf would be too rich for my blood. I said my hellos to everyone who wasn't already being thrown around by the surf. The report from Pease Bay the day before had the surf at 13ft, so it was still good. Plenty of board surfers were out, too. I wandered the beach and took some photos before the cold got the best of me and I caught a ride back to town with Hugh.

Oh yes... the magical cheating of digital cameras... I did the same thing at Cape Sounion :) Glad you got out for some non-paddling action!

I have'nt checked this blog out in too long! Italy looks and sounds fun! The waves look....wet! If it happens again let me know if there is space in the car!

How goes the perfectly two dimensional plane hunting?

Ciao?
