Festivals in Edinburgh 8/2006

Festival time in Edinburgh rocks. It’s really that simple. The International Festival begat the Fringe of the Festival, which grew to be the Fringe Festival and eventually eclipsed the International Festival in size. The Jazz Festival, Acoustic Festival, Book Festival, Film Festival and probably a host of other festivals I don’t even know about invaded the city as well. Festival brings all sorts of artists to town. Some are incredible artistically. Others are incredible in other ways. Craziness abounds. It is good fun.
